RESOLUTION NO. 440
BE IT RESOLVED that there is hereby created a Board of Port Commissioners
of the City of Seward whose purpose it shall be to advise the City l'~nager
on the operation and development of the Seward ~lunicipal Small Boat Harbor
and to conduct studies and advise the City e~nager on the development of
the port facilities of the Resurrection Bay.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: (1) Said Board shall consist of three members
who shall be appointed by the e~yor with the approval of the City Council;
(2) The Mayor shall designate one of the members of the Board to act as
Chairman of the Board; (3) Members of the Eoard shall serve at the
pleasure of the }~yor; (4) The City Hanager and llarbormaster shall be
ex-officio members of the Board; (5) The Board shall meet at least
once each month and additional meetings shall be held as deemed necessary
by the City }~nager; (6) Regular and special meetings of the Board shall
be called by the City ~~nager.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately upon passage
and approval. Passed and approved by the Common Council of the City of
Seward this
