HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1965-441 CITY OF SEWARD RESOLUTION NO. 440~ l, ~I) , ,J,J-j jlP' I 'i2vtlft~ '11) ~1\\~,db1 (i~>~:~,-f-<;~r\I.c') BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 197fand 210 ~~,~!-ropeallild and Uud: the mooring and other charges to be collected ~~ tt'ose persons who make use of the Seward Municipal Small Boat Harbor and its related facilities under Ordinance No. 302 Relating to the Regulation, Control and Other Mat- ters Concerning the SEWARD MUNICIPAL SMALL BOAT HARBOR shall be as follows: MOORING RENTAL CHARGES: (a) For the rental of the below described mooring berths: Moora~e Description: On Float "A" - Float Fingers 23' Long On Float "B" - Float Fingers 32' Long On Float "C" - Float Fingers 32' Long On Float liD" - Float Fingers 42' Long On Float "E" - Float Fingers 50' Long On Float "F" - Float Fingers 759 Long On Float "G'f - Float Fingers l7' Long At the City Dock: Boats with Beam of 20' or Less Boats with Beam in Excess of 20' Per Month or Any Portion Thereof Per Year or Eleven Months & Any Portion of 12th Month (Moorage to be Paid in Advance) $ 7.50 $ 75.00 10.50 l05.oo 10.50 l05.oo 13.00 l30.oo 13.00 130.00 15.00 150.00 5.00 50.00 25.00 50.00 Monthly Only Monthly Only Cargo loading or unloading shall have priority use of the City Dock. (b) Boats berthed outboard of another boat (permitted only when there is no suitable space available at the float) or tandem: The same rate as for other boats at the float since normal use will cause a rotation of boats at a float. (NOTE - Boats of comparable length, size, etc., will be berthed together when multiple berthing is required.) GRID RENTAL CHARGES: Grid rental charges shall be $10.00 for a period of 48 hours and $25.00 for each day or portion of a day that the grid is occupied in excess of the initial 48 hour period, except that if an extreme emergency exists the grid may be rented for a second 48 hour period for $10.00. The Harbor- BEACH STORAGE RENTAL CHARGES: master shall determine whether or not an extreme emergency exists. Beach storage rental charge shall be $5.00 per month or portion thereof for each boat or article. Prior authorization and designation of storage area shall be secured by the renter from the Harbormaster. The surface r- RESOLUTION NO. 44l (Cont.) of the storage area shall be returned to its previous condition if damaged by the renter. LABOR CHARGES: All work performed by the Harbonnaster as the result of an emergency or as the result of the owner or operator of any boat making a request to the Harbor master shall be charged for at the rate of Five and nO/loo ($5.00) Dollars per hour with a minimum charge of Two and 50/loo ($2.50) Dollars. CONDITIONS: All moorage or rental fees described herein are due in advance on reserv- at ion of the berth or facility and thereafter on or before the first day of the month. Failure to pay the moorage or rental fee in advance by the first day of the month shall cause the account to become delinquent and thereupon a delinquent penalty in the amount of 10% of the delinquent charge shall be imposed and collected. This Resolution and the charges therein shall be in full force and effect as of the first day of May, 1965. Publication of this ordinance shall be by posting a copy hereof on the City Hall Bulletin Board for a period of ten (10) days following its passage and approval.
