Electric Utility Ad Hoc Committee

Mission
To research and compile the costs of rebuilding Seward's electric utility so
that it's capable of successfully meeting future financial and regulatory
challenges through expanded staffing and regular system and technology
investments, while striving to maintain competitive rates and system
reliability.
Deliverables
- Cost estimate for the salaries/benefits of the additional personnel as
outlined on the organizational chart provided
- Cost estimate for expanded office space required by the additional
staffing (Lease? Build? Construct offices in electric warehouse?)
- Cost estimate for additional vehicles, equipment and supplies, if needed
- Cost estimate for regular investments in system maintenance and
capital projects
- Cost estimate for regular investments in technology/cybersecurity
