WHEREAS, The City of Seward for many years has had a fully
operative planning and zoning program under which it exercised
its full authority and responsibility therefor, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that The City of Seward hereby
agrees to accept the offer of the Kenai Peninsula Borough for
authority to continue to administer and enforce its own exist-
ing planning and zoning program, and to accept full and complete
responsibility therefort for an indefinite period of time and
until the Borough claims this area-wide authority for its own
administration, all in accordance with Kenai Peninsula Borough
Ordinance No.
which was passed and approved on
the 7th day of December, 1965.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be executed
in the manner of both Resolution and Contract for The City of
Seward; that it shall be submitted to the Kenai Peninsula
Borough for signature of approval and effective authorization
in accordance with Section 2 of Borough Ordinance No.

This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately upon
passage and approval.
