THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 495
BE IT RESOLVED that with reference to HCR No. 9 relating to a
feasibility study of a summer road from Portage to Whittier,
the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska, hereby calls
the attention of the Alaska Legislature to a feasibility survey
for a road to Whittier, Alaska, which was prepared recently with
the conclusion and recommendation that the road was not finan-
cially feasible; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature be and is hereby
requested to make use of and be guided by said survey which has
been previously prepared rather than to spend additional funds
for a second study.
Passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward
on this 21st day of February, 1966.
