'!'HE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 528
BE IT RESOLVED that application to the State Division of Lands for
Bureau of Outdoor Recreation matching funds for the development of a
park to be constructed and operated by The City of Seward on Lot 2
in Tract B of Survey No. 149 in Section 34 in Township 1 North,
Range 1 west, Seward Meridian, be and is hereby approved1 and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said application shall request the sum of
$60,000 for construction of said park, of which Seward's portion is
hereby authorized in the sum of $30,000 which shall be provided only
in "in kind" contributions such as land, equipment, labor, super-
vision, etc.1 this Resolution being in confirmation of conference
between the Mayor of Seward, the City Manager of Seward and the Chair-
man of the Kenai Peninsula Borough and to support the advance reserva-
tion of the funds by the Borough for the City of Seward.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of passage and approval.
Passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska
this 6th day of June, 1966.
