RESOLUTION NO. 545
BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Resolution No. 506 and discussions
between The City of Seward and the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers, Local 1547 in executive sessions on the 7th day of March, 1966
and on the 20th day of June, 1966 and in regular meeting on July 18, 1966,
as regards wages only in accordance with Article I of the contract
between the City and the IBEW covering working conditions and wages,
that said contract be and is hereby continued without change. It is
understood that the monthly wages for power plant chief engineer,
chief operator, operator engineer combination, operator and assistant
operator should be deleted from the contract as these wage categories
no longer have any meaning due to the loss of the generation plant on
March 27, 1964 and construction of the present type of standby
generation system.
This Resolution to be effective on the date of passage and approval.
Passed and approved on the 15th day of Augus~ 1966.
