CONLEY is hereby appointed City

BE IT RESOLVED that EDWARD J.
Manager of The City of Seward effective OCtober:l-. '-f, 1966 or such

near date as employment actually oommences, to perform the duties
required of him by law and by instruction of the City Council.
and that he shall be compensated at the rate of Thirteen Thousand
Five Hundred and No/IOO ($13,500.00) Dollars per annum therefor,
plus one Thousand Five Hundred and NO/lOO ($1,500.00) Dollars for
moving expenses, with Five Hundred and No/IOO ($500.00) Dollars per
annum increment effective upon completion of six months satisfac-
tory service; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Edward J. Conley shall be required to
secure a faithful performance of duties bond in the amount of Twenty-
five Thousand and No/lOa ($25,000.00) Dollars as set forth in
section 1.200 of the Code of Ordinances, surety to be a registered
bon ding company. guaranteeing to hold the City of Seward harmless
from loss arising from the said Edward J. Conley's failure to
faithfully perform the duties of city Manager, said bond to be
effective immediately, and premium to be paid by The City of Seward.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of passage and
approval. Passed and approved by the city Council of The City of
