HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1966-578 r--- THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 578 BE IT RESOLVED, further to Resolution No. 563 passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward on the 17th day of October, 1966, that re-application for Alaska Purchase Centennial 50-50 match- ing grant to construct the William H. Seward Centennial campground on Lot 2 in U.S. Survey No. 149, Section 34, Township 1 West, Range 1 North, Seward Meridian, to accelerate the project from a three-year construction period at a total project cost of $60,000 to a one-year project at a total project cost of $50,000 as follows be and is hereby authorized: Application for 50% Alaska Purchase Centennial Grant. $ 25,000 "In Kind Contributions" of 50% Land valued at at least $ Equipment with operator, Labor and Materials to be provided by City: 16,000 9,000 25,000 $ 50,000: and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds to cover these "In Kind contributions" shall be provided to the extent possible by the contributing divisions, then by the Mayor-Council contingency fund, and lastly by short term loan upon specific prior approval of the City Council: and the 1966-67 Budget for The City of Seward shall be encumbered to reflect this action.
