RESOLUTION NO. 583
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor for the City
Manager be and hereby is authorized to offer
to enter into a contract with the U. S. Army,
Alaska, Special Services Supply, Fort Richard-
son, Alaska, to furnish and deliver to thirty
(30) boats more or less, at the City of Seward
rJIarine Fuel float in the Seward Municipal
Small Boat Harbor regular leaded gasoline at
a firm price of twenty-eight cents (28~) per
gallon, exclusive of State Marine Fuel Tax for
a period of one year; it being understood that
the average such boat carries two twenty-gallon
tanks, with a few boats carrying fifty-gallon
tanks, and that the Special Services Division
would receive good service from the City of
Seward, but would also cooperate with the City
for efficient operation of its marine fuel
float in the best interest of all users of the
Seward Hunicipal Small Boat Harbor and fuel
facility; and upon acceptance of such offer,
the lfiayor for the City I-1anager and the City
Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter
into such contractual agreement.
This Resolution to be effective on the date
of passage and approval. Passed and approved
by the City Council of The City of Seward,
Alaska, this 21st day of November, 1966.
