THE CITY"'OF SE'vfARD, ALASKA,
RESOLUTION NO. 593
vlliEREAS, The City of Seward agreed to donate certain City owned lands
within the Seward Urban Renewal Project and zoned for re-development to
Alaska State Housing Authority as a non-cash grant-in-aid under Local
Grant-In-Aid and Cooperation Agreement, of the Sewa~d Urban Renewal
Project R-21; and
viliEREAS, lands within said project acquired by the City by foreclosure of
tax liens subsequent to approval of said project and the lands to have
been donated were made eligible for purchase by ASHA at the time of release
of some $300,000 for Cordova and other cities in need of such funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following parcels which are a por-
tion of the total be and are hereby approved for sale at the prices herein
listed to Alaska State Hous~ing Authority in accordance with AS 18.55.630
and the Local Grant-InAid and Cooperation Agreement of the Seward Urban
Renewal Project R-21 as approved by the City Council of The City of
Seward on the 6th day of August, 1964, and the City Manager and the City
Clerk-Treasurer are hereby instructed to execute and deliver Quit Claim
Deeds for such property:

Lots 13 & 14 of Block 5 of the Laubner Addition
Lot 2$ of Block 5 of the Laubner Addition
Lots 34& 35 of Block 5 of the Laubner Addition
Lots 21, 22 & 23 of Block 35 of the Original Townsite
Lot 24 of Block 35 of the Original Townsite

This Resolution shall be posted on the bulletin board in City Hall for
a period of thirty days following enactment. The place of posting and a
brief statement of the purpose.of this resolution shall be published in
a newspaper of general circulation within the City as provided by Section
1.122 of the Administrative Code of The City of Seward.
This Resolution shall be effective thirty days after enactment. Passed
and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska, this
16th day of January, 1967.
