RESOLUTION NO. 594
BE IT RESOLVED that KESTER L. DOTTS be and is hereby appbinted
City Manager of The City of Seward under the following terms and
conditions of employment in accordance with verbal negotiations
and Mr. Dotts? written acceptance dated January 3, 1967:
1.
To be effective February 6, 1967 or such near date
as employment actually commences,
2.
To perform the duties required of him by law and by
instruction of the City Council,
Compensation to be at the rate of Fourteen Thousand
and No/IOO ($14,000.00) Dollars plus four increments
of Five Hundred and No/IOO ($500.00) Dollars at six
month intervals until the annual salarv of Sixteen
Thousand and No/IOO ($16,000.00) Dollars is reached
to be effective twenty-four (24) months following
date of employment.
3.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that KESTER L. DOTTS shall be required to
secure a faithful performance of duties bond in the amount of
Twenty-five Thousand and No/IOO ($25,000.00) Dollars as set
forth in Section 1.200 of the Code of Ordinances, surety to be
a registered bonding company guaranteeing to hold the City of
Seward harmless from loss arising from the said Kester L. Dotts?
failure to faithfully perform the duties of City Manager, said
bond to be effective immediately, and premium to be paid by The
City of Seward.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of passage and
