WHEHEAS, The City of Seward is proud of this fine showing and
the sportsmanlike conduct of its Basketball Team in this Tourna""
ment and throughout 'the year;
NCv'J, THE llli FORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of The
City of Seward, Alaska, does hereby commend the Seward Highschool
Seahawks and their coach, Maynard E. (Pete) vhllburn, for their
achievements and excellent representa'tion of the City throughout
'ehe baske'tball season and especially in the competition of the
Class "B" Tournamen't at }'airbanks.
This Resolution to be effective on the date of passage and
approval. Passed and approved by the City Council of The City
of Sevlard, Alaska, this firs"t day of Hay, 1967.
