WI-IEaEAS, the Seward v"restling squad completed l\pril 7 and 8, 1':,67
in the Western Alaska S.tate ,'lres,tling Tournamen't in Anchorage; and
vifHEHEAS, a tllirc1 place team rating was brought home by the squad;
and
ViI-IEREAS, Seward is proud of this fine showing and ,the sportsmanli;;:e
conduct of its Wrestling squad in this Tournament and throughout
the year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ci.ty Council of The City
of Seward, Alas;.;:a, does hereby cOItunendthe Seward Wrestling squad
and its cr)ach, Daniel B. Seavey. for its achievements and exemplary
conduct throughout the wrestling season and particularly in the
competitL')n of the Western Alaska state wrestling Tournament.
This ~esolution to be effective on the date of passage and
approval. Passed and approved by the city council of The City
of Seward, Alaska, this First day of May, 1967.
