WHEREAS, ,the Seward Girls Gymnastic Team compe'ted April 15, 1967
in the Second Annual Girls Gymnastic Meet held in Anchorage; and
WHEREAS, eleven ribbons were won by the Seward Girls Gymnastic Team,
including one first place, four second place, two third place, two
fourth place, one fifth place, and one sixth place; and
,'THEREAS, Seward is proud of the fine showing and the sportsmanliJ;:e
conduct throughout the year of all the boys and 9'ir1s who
participated in this exemplary program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'r RESOLVED that the City Council of The City
of seward, Alaska, does hereby cO~TIend the Seward Gymnasiasts and
their coaches L. Roscoe Livingston and Angela Livingston, for
their achievements and outstanding performances throughout the
season and particularly the excellent representation of the
seward Girls Gymnastic Team at the competition in Anchorage.
This Resolution to be effective on the date of passage and
approval. Passed and approved by the City Council of The city
of Seward, Alaska, this 1st day of Hay, 1967.
