RESOLUTION NO. 623
WHEREAS, ,the Seward All School Band competed a't the Busic Festival
held in Anchorage April 27, 28, and 29, 1967r and
WHEREAS, the .seward All School Band received a Superior Plus Rating
when only two such ratings were awarded at the Festivalr and
~vHEREAS, the Seward All School Band received a standing ovation
which was ini,tiated by our keen competitors and good friends at
Anchorage West High Schoolr
NOW, 'l'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of The City
of Seward, .'l.laska, does hereby commend the Seward All School
Band and their director, Marvin Crisp, for their achievements
and outstanding performances throughout the year and particularly
the excellent representation or the Band during the ~~usic Festival
in Anchorage.
This Resolution to be effective on the date of passage and approval.
Passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward,
Alaska, this 1st day or May, 1967.
