RESOLUTION NO. 632
WHEREAS, the William H. Seward Elementary School participated
in the Kenai peninsula Borough School District Forensic Meet
on November 19, 1966 at Kenai: and
WHEREAS, with only thirteen entries Seward received the third
highest number of points in the meet, surpassed only by Kenai
Elementary who had twenty-two entries and Soldotna Elementary
who had twenty-one entries: and
WHEREAS, eleven of the thirteen entries from Seward placed
including four first places, two second places, three third
places, and two honorable mentions: and among the first place
winners Jenny Skinner received a perfect score which placed
her "Best at Meet".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of The
City of Seward hereby commends the boys and girls who took
part in this meet and the teachers who aided them in their
preparation, for their achievements and outstanding perform-
ances during this year's Forensic Meet.
This Resolution to be effective on the date of passage and
approval. Passed and approved by the City Council of The City
