RESOLUTION NO. 654
WHEREAS, the utility revenue bond refunding program must be postponed
until conditions favorable to such refunding are rebuilt; and
WHEREAS, Governmental Statistical corporation had answered the city's
request for an offer to serve as financial consultant to the city in
such refunding, and the offer was dated March 18, 1964, and was not
acted upon: and
WHEREAS, Governmental statistical corporation was employed by The city
of Seward to serve as financial consultant for progr~us relating to
the earthquake-tsunami disaster including re-sale of the street
improvement bonds, and the over-all financing of the Municipal Small
Boat Harbor improvements project; and
WHEREAS, these projects are complete or nearly complete, and current
revenues of the city are greatly diminished:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the arrangements between The city
of Seward and Governmental Statistical corporation for that firm to
serve as financial consultant to the city of Seward be, and are hereby,
terminated.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of passage and approval.
