RESOLUTION NO. 687
WHEREAS, The City of Seward and the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers met in executive session on February 29, 1968, to
negotiate a new contract and adjustment of salaries for electrical workers;
and

WHER EAS, the proposed contract will be for the period of March 1, 1968
to March 1, 1969, and therefore the present contract expires at midnight
on February 29, 1968;
NOW, THEREFORE; the City Council agreed to an acceptance of the con-
tract and the Electrical Workers agreed to accept said contract, with the
following terms and conditions included;
1. The City will grant an eight percent (8%) salary increase
starting March 1, 1968, with no retroactive salary.
2. A four (4) man electric department crew is to remain.
3. Electrical Department employees who spend normal work-
.... ing time in negotiations must either deduct same from leave
time or spend same without pay.
Passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska,
