FILIP be and is hereby appointed city clerk-Treasurer of The City of Seward, Alaska, effective the first day of June, 1968, to perform or provide for performance of all of the duties of said office as described in Section 5.5 of The city of seward Home Rule Charter, Section 2.102 of the Administrative Code of The city of Seward (Ordinance No. 349) and as otherwise required by law in return for compensation at the rate of$750.00 per month, plus $25.00 increment at the end of three months and plus $50.00 increment at the end of nine months, making $825.00 per month as of March 1, 1969 and receipt of all fringe benefits: employment and said compensation to commence on the day near the twentieth day of May, 1968 when James R. Filip shall first report for duty; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said James R. Filip shall immediately secure a faithful performance of duties bond from a company registered to do such business in the State of Alaska, to cover these duties, in the principal sum of Forty Thousand and No/IOO ($40,000.) Dollars, naming ~he city of seward as beneficiary, the premium of which shall be paid by The city of Seward.
