RESOLUTION NO. 723
WHEREAS; The City of Seward contracted with the Alaska State Housing Authority
to undertake the completion of a COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; and
WHEREAS; the City's responsibilities as outlined in the Plan require that the
Capital Improvement Program of the Plan be adopted and implemented by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS; the City Council concurs with the recommendations contained in
the Plan and the Capital Improvement Program and believe that it is in the best
interest of the City and its residents that the program be implemented, but due
to certain factors involved that must be considered, am the date upon which
this plan and program were received, the schedules recommended in the
Capital Improvement Program must be revised;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; by the City Council of The City of
Seward, Alaska, that the Capital Improvement Program, Pages One through
Fifty, inclusive, as prepared by the Alaska State Housing Authority under the
Urban Planning Assistance Program of the Urban Renewal Administration, BE
ADOPTED.
This resolution shall become effective upon the date of passage and approval.
Passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska, this
