HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1968-734 I TIlE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 734 The City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska, being fully aware of and recog- nlzing the problems of Alcoholism appointed a committee of local residents to study and make recommended possible legislative action along with local and state programming which would perhaps assist in resolving certain alcoholism problems within the State. The committee after many hours of study and consideration submitted their re- port to the City Council and urged that their resolutions be adopted as the first move in alleviating alcoholism prOblems within Alaska and the area. RESOLUTION NO.9 SUBMITTED BY STEERING COMMITTEE ON ALCOHOLISM: WHER EAS: a small committee works more effectively; and WHER BAS: the Steering Committee on Alcoholism contains ten members; TIlEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council select a three-member committee to implement those Resolutions of the Steering Committee on Alcohol- ism which the City Council adopts as City policy. 28 day of OCT PASSED AND APPROVED this , 1968, by the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska. ~&.~J R. .
