TIlE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 742
WHEREAS: Flamingo, Inc., Robert (Bob) Chappell, President, has made
application to lease Lot 6, Block 1, in the Marina Subdivision in the City of
Seward Municipal Small Boat Harbor Commercial District, to conduct a
Bar and Cocktail Lounge and future Dining Room; and
WHEREAS: Flamingo, Inc., Robert (Bob) Chappell, President, disclose that
they are prepared to commence construction of the building immediately; and
WHER EAS: The attached form of lease which the City will offer to Flamingo,
Inc., Robert (Bob) Chappell, President, for such lease contains all the pro-
visions for the protection of the city in developing salutary, active use of the
land that similar leases contain and which have been posted am published
without adverse comment regarding the provisions of such leases being filed
with the city;
NOW, TIlER EFOR E BE IT R ESOL VED that the form of lease attached heretQ
and made a part hereof, be and is hereby approved and the City Manager a~
City Clerk-Treasurer be and are hereby authorized and instructed to sign
and deliver said lease for Lot 6, Block 1 in the Marina Subdivision in the City
of Seward, to be used to conduct a Bar and Cocktail Lounge and future Dining
Room, for a term of Thirty (30) Years.
This Resolution shall be published by posting a copy thereof on the Bulletin
Board at the City Hall and publishing a brief statement of the purposes of said
Resolution in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Seward within
a reasonable time; and shall become effective immediately thereafter.
Passed and approved by the City Council of The City of Seward, Alaska, this
