TIiE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
R BSOLUTION NO. 750
BE IT RESOLVED that there is hereby created a Municipal Harbor
Commission of The City of Seward whose purpose it shall be to advise the
City Manager on the operation and development of the Seward Municipal Small
Boat Harbor and to conduct studies and advise the City Manager on the develop-
ment of the port facilities of the Resurrection Bay.
BE IT FURTIiER RESOLVED that: (1) Said Commission shall consist of five
members who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City
Council; (2) The Mayor may designate one of the members of the Commission
to act as Chairman of the Commission; (3) Members of the Commission shall
serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and the City Council; (4) The City Manager
and Harbormaster shall be ex-officio members of the Commission; (5) The
Commission shall meet at least once each month and additional meetings shall
be held as deemed necessary by the City Manager and/or the Chairman of the
Commission; (6) Date and time of regular and special meetings on the
Commission shall be scheduled by the City Manager.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately upon passage am
approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Common Council of The City of Seward, Alaska,
this 9 day of June, 1969.
