Resolution No. 757 City Clerk-Treasurer
WHEREAS, The City Council of The City of Seward. Alaska, has determined that
the qualified electors of the City should determine whether liquor dispensing
establishments should be licensed in the Marina Subdivision, and
W!iEREAS, The City Council has also determined that $108,000.00 in Harbor
Improvement General Obligation Bonds approved by the qualified electors of the
City and carrying an interest limitation of 4 1/8\ cannot now be sold with
this interest rate limitation, and
WHEREAS, said rate of interest limitation should be amended to 7 1/2\ to
make said bonds salable, and said amenW8ent can only be made by the qualified
electors of the City,
NOW, THERBpGRB, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIlY COUNCIL OF THE CIlY OF SEWARD,
ALASICA, that an election is to be held on October 7, 1969 for the purpose of
submitting the following propositions to the qualified voters of the City for
approval or rejection, the aajority of these electors qualified and voting
in favor of the propositions being required for approval:
PROPOSITION A

PROPOSITION B
Shall the rate of interest limitation of 4 1/8\ be 8IIended and changed
to 7 1/2\ as a condition of ' and limitation upon the sale of unsold and
unissued Harbor Improvement GeReral Obligation Bonds as authorized by
Ordinance No. 360 and Resolution No. 464 and by the qualified electors
of the City at the October 5, 1965, Special Bond Election held for the
purpose of such authorization.
