THE CITY OF SEWARD. ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 763
WHEREAS. The State of Alaska. through the Department of Public Works. has
offered to improve the City.s 4th Avenue Dock; and
WHEREAS. these improvements are needed iDl1lediately; and
WHEREAS. these improvements will represent an expenditure of approximately
$29.000.00;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED. that vessels of the State Ferry System are
hereby awarded preferential berthing rights over all other vessels using this
facility; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that this right shall be for a two year period beginning
immediately after the dock reconstruction work has been completed.
This Resolution shall be effective upon the date of its passage and approval.
Passed and approved by the City Council of the City of Seward. Alaska. this

,BE IT FUR lliER RESOLVED that the rate of levy on the 19.eW!."",
property tax rolls shall be and is hereby lev ied at the rate of twenty (20) mUla
per dollar of assessed valuation, except that the rate of levy on boats and vessels
shall be and is hereby levied at the rate of Five ($5. (0) Dollars each on a boat or
vessel of less than five (5) net registered or certificated tons and at the rate of
Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars each on a boat or vessel of more than five (5) registered
or certificated tons.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of its passage and approval.
