CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 96-11
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE
CHAPTER 11.15 RELATING TO PARKING
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code Section 11.15.090 is hereby repealed.
Section 2. Seward City Code Section 11.15.092 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
11.15.092 Parking time limited. The council by resolution may establish time limits
for parking in public parking lots and on designated public streets or parts thereof
and may provide for exceptions to such limits. The city shall place signs on all
public parking lots, streets and public ways designated for limited time parking
under this section indicating the limitations and any exceptions thereto. Where a
sign is placed indicating limited time parking as established by council resolution,
no person may stop, stand or park a vehicle for a time exceeding the indicated
parking time limit.
Section 3. Seward City Code Section 11.15.125 is hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
