RESOLUTION NO. 767
WHEREAS, SEHARD FISHERIES, INC. has arranged to purchase
HALIBUT PRODUCERS COOPERATIVE facilities for processing of scallop
and other marine resources at Se\vard and desires to use Seward as
a base of operations, and
WHEREAS, HALIBUT PRODUCERS,COOPERATIVE's license agreement
for use of Small Boat Harbor Dock and Boat Raising Dock have been
terminated by their failure to request renewal thereof, and

WHEREAS, SEWARD FISHERIES, INC. desires a similar licensing
agreement between itself and the CITY OF SEWARD in order to insure
sufficient docking facilities to operate the facilities obtained
from HALIBUT PRODUCERS COOPERATIVE, and
WHEREAS, SEWARD FISHERIES, INC. further wishes to arrange
purchase of I.Q.F. QUICK FREEZE EQUIPMENT belonging to the CITY
OF SEWARD and presently located in the building of HALIBUT
PRODUCERS COOPERATIVE and to operate such plant at maximum
capacity for substantial portions of the year, thus giving jobs
and income to the Seward area, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that a license agreement may be entered

into by the CITY OF SEWARD through the City Manager and SEWARD
FISHERIES, INC. for use of the West 17 feet of the Small Boat
Harbor Dock and the East 17 feet of the Boat Lift Dock for a
period of ten'(lO) years ending December 31, 1979, by SEWARD
FISHERIES, INC.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of passage
and approval --
