WHEREAS, the Ordinances of the CITY OF SEWARD provide
that Council may authorize the City Manager to negotiate a sale
of personal property by Resolution duly enacted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA:
Section 1. That it is in the public interest to sell the
I.Q.F. QUICK FREEZE EQUIPMENT to SEWARD FISHERIES, INC., all pro-
visions with reference to public advertisement for sale of the
property are hereby declared to be not in the public interest.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and
directed to negotiate the sale of such 1. Q. F. equipment in
accordance with the Ordinances of the CITY OF SEWARD and the
Lessee's proposal dated the ~ day of October
, 1969,
and to do all things necessary to consummate said sale and the
proper city officials are authorized and directed to execute the
cocuments of sale.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be filed and pub-
1ished as in the case of Resolutions for public sale of property
and the bill of sale shall not be executed until said Resolution
has been on file in the office of the Clerk for thirty (30) days.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, this lOth day of
