CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 779 A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO REFORMATION AND ASSIGNMENT WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of March, 1966, a lease agreement was entered into between the City of Seward, as Lessor and Halibut Producers Cooperative Association as Lessee, relating to the following described property: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Municipal Small Boat Harbor Dock, located on the Northwesterly shore of Resurrection Bay within the boundaries of the City of Seward, where said dock joins and intersects the shoreline; thence West along said shoreline a distance of 20 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing West along said shoreline a distance of 105 feet; thence North a distance of 287 feet, more or less, to the Southerly boundary of the pro- posed airport road; thence Northeasterly along said Southerly boundary to a point North of the True Point of Beginning; thence South to the True Point of Beginning, located in the Seward Recording Distract, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska; also known as Lot Eleven (11), CITY OF SEWARD INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, a new survey of said property has shown the description of Lot Eleven (11) to be as follows: Commencing at the Witness Corner to Corner Number 1, U.S. Survey Number 241, a Brass Cap Monument, RM 16, Alaska Tideland Survey Number 174, 1964; thence South 00 02' 00" West a distance of 25.29 feet to the South right-of-way line of Airport Road; thence South 760 43' West along the South right-of-way line of said Airport Road a distance of 648.99 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 760 43' West a distance of 145.22 feet; thence South a distance of 269.32 feet; thence East a distance of 141.33 feet; thence North a distance of 302.69 feet to the True Point of Beginning, said tract containing 40,421 square feet, more or less. FiUp. J CU, Cl...... Tnu.... WHEREAS, all parties desire that the property description be corrected. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA: Section 1. That it is in the public interest for the property description in said lease to be corrected. Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Petersburg Fisheries, Inc. to reform said lease to show the correct property des- cription. Section 3. That this resolution shall become effective the day of its passage and approval.
