CITY OF SEWARD
RESOLUTION NO. 825
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE
LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is the owner of the following
described property:
All of Lot Four (4), Marina Subdivision,
City of Seward, Seward Recording District,
Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, and
WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Seward provide for
the sale, lease or other disposition of real property owned by the
City of Seward, which is not dedicated to any public use, and the
sUbject property is not dedicated to any pUblic use, and
WHEREAS, the ordinances provide that the Council may,
by motion passed, find that the pUblic interest will not be served
by lease of said subject property either by auction or sealed bid, and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the public interest
will not be served by public auction or sealed bid but that the
public interest will be served by a negotiat~d lease of the property
granted to ROBERT C. CARR, and
WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Seward provide
that Council may authorize the City Manager to negotiate a lease of
real property by Resolution duly enacted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA:
Section 1. That it is in the public interest to lease
said property to Robert C. Carr, all provisions with reference to
public advertisement for lease of the property are hereby declared
to be not in the public interest.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and
directed to negotiate the lease of said property in accordance
with the ordinances of the City of Seward and substantially in
accordance with the proposed lease attached hereto, and to do all
things necessary to consummate said lease agreement, and the proper
city officials are authorized and directed to execute the same.

Section~. ~~at this resolution shall be filed and
publl~hed as 1n the case of resolutions for public sale of property
and the lease shall not be executed until said resolution has been
posted and been on file in the office of the Clerk for thirty (30)
days.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City
