THE CITY OF SEUARD. ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 837
WHEREAS, The City of Seward, Alaska, has issued a call for bids
for the provision of garbage and trash collection service, and
t'HEREAS, the bid ooening was scheduled for 4: 00 P. M., 11onday,
Seotember 20, 1971, and
WHEREAS, the only bid which was received was submitted by Herman
E. Leirer DBA Seward Service,
NOF, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Herman E. Leirer, DBA
Seward Service, is hereby awarded the City's garbage contract
for the oeriod October 1, 1971 through Seotember 3~, 1975, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Section 14 of the attached contractual

agreement for the collection and disposal of garbage, rubbish and
waste material is amended as follows:
Section 14 of said contract is hereby deleted.
This Resolution shall take effect on the 1st day of October, 1971.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward.

WHEREAS, the only bid which was received was submitted by Herman

NOP, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Herman E. Leirer, DBA
Seward Service, is hereby awarded the City's garbage contract
for the oeriod October I, 1971 through Seotember 3~, 1975, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Section 14 of the attached contractual
agreement for the collection and disposal of garbage, rubbish and
waste material is amended as follows:
Section 14 of said contract is hereby deleted.
This Resolution shall take effect on the 1st day of October, 1971.
