Filip, ("City Clerk-Treasurer CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 840 WHEREAS, the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District does not now have a regularly assigned maintenance employe in the Seward area, and WHEREAS, school maintenance is recognized as an on. going requirement in the area which, if neglected, can result in increased repair costs to the School District, and WHEREAS, it appears that a maintenance employe can be assigned to the local area to do minor maintenance work on a prompt "as needed" basis which can prevent small repairs from becomiilg~major repairs,; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that the Kenai Penin- sula Borough and the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District be encouraged to provide funds to hire a maintenance employe to provide prompt maintenance ser- vice to the schools in the Seward area.
