HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1971-842 A'l-l'AeR~D TO AND MADE ,It''lYART OF TH~ MINUT~::; RESOLUTION NO. 842 OF THE SEWARD CITY COUNelL V,O,L ,15J/.:;7~a ',:.6 5 ~7!'''-'S /(,- ,""7 ( ~ames R. ilitf, v'- City Clerk-Treasurer WHEREAS, the City of Seward has approved a design for the construction of a wharf in the Seward Munici~al Small Boat Harbor, and WHEREAS, the construction of this facility will require the ex~enditure of funds which represent contractor's and engineer's ex~enses, and WHEREAS, the ex~enditure of these funds is not within the current financial capability of the City without the use of interim financing, and WHEREAS, preliminary design and construction conferences with the project engineer indicates that the project will be rapidly constructed while funds covering portions of the completed work may be delayed while necessary application forms are completed and certified, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to apply for interim project financing in an amount not to exceed $262,000.00 and said funds are to be segregated from the General Fund of the City in a special account to be known as the 1972 Wharf Construction Project Account and all checks drawn on this account are to be signed James R.
