RESOLlITION NO. 860
WHEREAS) the Department of Transportation, United States Coast
Guard, has expressed interest in acquiring real property in the
City of Seward known as Tract A-I, Jesse Lee Heights Subdiv-
ision, and
l'lHEREAS) the Department of Transportation, United States Coast
Guard, has offered to pay $10,800.00 as just compensation for
the purchase of the above property, and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is agreed that this price is acceptable
provided the proposed construction of twenty, three bedroom units
of housing is the actual use this property is put to and that said
construction will begin within two years of the passage of this
Resolution.
NOW) THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Seward, Alaska) that Tract A-l, Jesse Lee Heights Subdivision,
is offered for Sale to the Department of Transportation) United
States Coast Guard fo:;:, th:! amount of $10,800.00, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an "Option to Purchase Real Property"
for this parcel is also approved at 6% of the purchase price
and with an expiration date of June 30) 1973.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward,
Alaska this day of , 1972.
