RESOLUTION NO. 916
WHEREAS, Lowell Point Road is utili~ed by visi-
tors to' the community on a regular basis during
the summer months, and
WHEREAS, access to Lowell Point by road was made
possible in connection with the Pioneer Access
Road program supported by the State of Alaska,
and
WHEREAS, the road is a natural extension of the
Seward Highway south of Seward,
NOW, TIlEREFORE, 81~ IT RESOLVED by the Common
Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, that the
State Department of Highways be requested to
add Lowell Point Road to the State Highway Sys-
tem and provide funds for improvement and main-
tenance on a regular basis.
