CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 959
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID
OF COOPER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT
FOR THE JESSE LEE HEIGHTS WATER DISTRIBUTION
AND SEWAGE COLLECTION SYSTEM TO IT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, THAT:
Section 1. The bid of Cooper Construction Company, dated
August 12, 1976, in the total amount of Three Hundred Forty Seven
Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Four Dollars and Fifty Cents ($347,864.50),
for the construction of the Jesse Lee Heights Water Distribution
and Sewage Collection Systems pursuant to the specifications,
including addenda numbers One through Four (1-4), is hereby accepted.
The contract for the construction of this facility is hereby awarded
to Cooper Construction Company.
Section 2. This bid acceptance and award of contract is
made SUbject to the approval of the United States Government,
Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized and directed
to execute the documents necessary to implement this bid acceptance
and award of contract.
