CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 77-7
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND SETTING THE SALARY
FOR THE CITY CLERK-TREASURER
WHEREAS JoAnne E. Shanley has successfully completed the
probationary period as Deputy City Clerk-Treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that JoAnne E. Shanley is
appointed to the position of City Clerk-Treasurer for the City of
Seward, Alaska, and shall perform, or provide for performance, of
all of the duties of said office as described in Section 5.5 of the
Seward Home Rule Charter, Sections 2-44 and 2-53 of the Seward City
Code (Ordinance No. 349, ~ 2.102 and 2.106), and as otherwise required
by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that compensation for the position
shall be set at $1585 per month, effective December 16, 1976, with
the opportunity for adjustment as discussed during the budget sessions
for fiscal year 1977-78.

SEWARD, ALASKA, this 14th day of February , 1977.
