CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 77-22
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LEASE
OF LOT 16, SEWARD INDUSTRIAL PARK,
TO DRESSER INDUSTRIES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is the owner of a parcel of upland
property described as Lot 16, Seward Industrial Park, as shown by the plat
recorded and filed in Seward Recording District, Kenai Peninsula Borough,
Seward, Alaska, a portion of U.S. Survey No. 421, located in Section 3,
T1S, R1W, Seward Serial No. 73-399, Plat No. 90, and the contiguous tide-
lands, and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council desires to dispose of the said
property by lease, and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council has decided that it would not
be in the public interest to dispose of the said property at a public
sale, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has negotiated a lease agreement with
Dresser Industries, consistent with the terms earlier set forth in City
of Seward Resolution No. 970 dated December 27, 1976, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, hereby
finds that the land, which is the subject of this Resolution, is not dedi-
cated to any public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City shall dispose of the
said lands to Dresser Industries, pursuant to that certain lease agreement
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said lease shall become effective
on the date first set forth therein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 11th day of July , 1977.
