CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 77-23
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF AN AUTOMOBILE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Seward passed Ordinance
No. 434 allowing the City Manager to purchase used equipment without the use
of set bid procedures, and
WHEREAS, a used 1977 Plymouth Fury four-door sedan is available to
the City at the cost of $4800, $1300 less than retail value, and
WHEREAS, the monies required for the purchase of said vehicle are
available within the Equipment Budget as adopted for fiscal year 1977-78;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Seward, Alaska, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase
the available 1977 Plymouth Fury four-door sedan, the cost not to exceed
$4800.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 11th day of July 1977.
