CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-l2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
AWARDING TO CHRIS BERG, INC. A CONTRACT FOR A PORTION OF PHASE III,
ALTERNATE NUMBER ONE, SEWARD MARINE INDUSTRIAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Seward, Alaska, has received funds sufficient
for the construction of a portion of the Seward Marine Industrial Center Phase
III, Alternate Number One; and
WHEREAS, Chris Berg, Inc. was the apparent low bidder for this con-
struction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section l. An award of the contract for that portion of Phase III,
Alternate Number One, consisting of south breakwater cells numbers 9, lO, ll,
12, l3, l4, lS and 16, complete, is made to Chris Berg, Inc. for a price not
to exceed $1,904,000.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized and instructed to enter
into a contract on behalf of the City of Seward, Alaska, with Chris Berg, Inc.
in accordance with the bid documents.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
