CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-14
A RESOLUTION MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE
MAYOR AND COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE GENERAL
SERVICES FUND, EXCHANGE PROJECT ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has a sister city relationship
with Obihiro, Japan I and
WHEREAS, the Seward High School Band and Choir lS
traveling to Obihiro in the summer of 19821 and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward will be participating ln
EXPO HOKKAIDO '82' during the summer of 19821 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to assist by funding
a portion of the cost of these eventsl
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $10,000 is hereby apprpriated
from the Mayor and Council Contingency account No. 101-111-
511-10-69 to the General Services account No. 101-118-518-
12-61.
Section 2. This resolution takes effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA this l2th day of April 1982.
