CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-16
A RESOLUTION SELECTING LAND FROM THE
STATE OF ALASKA PURSUANT TO A.S. 38.05.315
WHEREAS, the City of Seward desires to select a tract
of land from the State of Alaska pursuant to the provisions
of A.S. 38.05.3151 and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska, Department of Natural
Resources, Division of Land and Water Management, has
advised the City of Seward by letter dated March 19, 1982,
that the City may select the tract of land in question
pursuant to A.S. 38.05.315 and a deed issued the City
without the reverter and unrestricted public use clausesl
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA that:
Section 1. The following parcel of land is hereby
selected from the State of Alaska for conveyance to the
City of Seward pursuant to the provisions of A.S. 38.05.315,
provided, however, that the deed issued to the City of
Seward for said parcel of land shall contain no reverter and
unrestricted public use clauses:
All of Tract A, State Division of Lands
Boundary Location Survey of portions of
U.S. Survey No. 149 and 242, T.IN, R.IW,
Seward Meridian, comprising 26.162 acres.
Section 2. This resolution takes effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA this l2th day of April 1982.
