CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-l7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, DESIGNATING TAXICAB ZONES
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council granted two taxicab zone
permits to Legion Cab at its regular meeting of March l2, 1979; and
WHEREAS, Legion Cab is currently being charged $200 annually
for two taxicab zone permits; and
vlliEREAS, Section 20-10 of the Seward City Code requires that
the city council approve such taxicab zones as designated by the city
manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section l. The first parking space on the east side of Fourth
Avenue north of Washington Street shall be designated Taxicab Zone Number
One (1).
Section 2. The first parking space on the west side of Fourth
Avenue south of Adams Street shall be designated Taxicab Zone Number Two
(2) .
Section 3. Approval is hereby granted for the use of these
two designated taxicab zones by Legion Cab.
Section 4. All previously passed resolution in conflict here-
with are hereby rescinded.
Section S. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
