CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-26
A RESOLUTUION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ERECTING A SIGN
DESIGNATING KERTTULA SCENIC VIEWPOINT
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council, recognizing the Honorable
Jalmar Kerttula's outstanding contributions to the City of Seward during
his years of service in the Alaska State Legislature, approved Resolution
No. 82-6, naming the scenic overlook located at Mile 3.4, Nash Road KERT-
TULA SCENIC VIEWPOINT; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council wishes to officially designate
KERTTULA SCENIC VIEWPOINT by erecting a sign at that location honoring
Senator Kerttula;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section l. The sum of $740.77 is hereby appropriated from the
Mayor and Council Contingency Fund account number 101-111-511-10-69 to the
Mayor and Council Miscellaneous Expense account number 101-111-511-10-79.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKAL this lOth day of May 1982.
