CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF UNITED
STATES COAST GUARD LIFT STATION TO NORroAST
MECHANICAL.
WHEREAS, the construction of United States Coast Guard
Lift Station was advertised for public bid, and
WHEREAS, the construction of the Lift Station has been
approved by and will be totally funded by the United States Coast
Guard, and
WHEREAS, bids were submitted by various contractors and
were opened on May 11, 1982, 2:00 P.M., at City Council Chambers,
and
WHEREAS,
a bid of TWENTY
($20,900.00), and
NQJ:'coast Mechanical is apparent low bidder with
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND NO/IOO DOLLARS
WHEREAS, engineers employed by the City of Seward have
reviewed the bid documents submitted by the various bidders and
have recommended that the bid be awarded to the apparent low
bidder, Norcoast Mechanical
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. An award of the contract for construction
of the United States Coast Guard Lift Station is hereby made to
Norcoast Mechanical for a price not to exceed TYIEN'l'Y THOUSAND NINE
HUNDRED AND NO/IOO DOLLARS ($20,900.00).
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized and
instructed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of
Seward, Alaska, with Norcoast Mechanical in accordance with the
bid documents.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 24th day of May , 1982.
