CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF TWO PUBLIC RESTROOMS TO
METCO, INC.
WHEREAS, the construction of two public restrooJ"lls at
sites to be identified by the City of Seward was advertised for
public bid, and

WHEREAS, funds are available and were budgeted for this
by the City of Seward, Resolution No. 82-10, in the
of EIGHTY-FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE AND
DOLLARS ($84,975.00), and
WHEREAS, a prebid conference was held in City Hall on
May 4, 1982, and
WHEREAS, contractors attending the prebid conference
were advised that the City had budgeted for the project, and
WHEREAS, it

WHEREAS, bids were submitted by two contractors and
were opened on May 13, 1982, and
WHEREAS, METCO, INC., is apparent low bidder with a bid
of SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE AND NO/IOO DOLLARS
($66,221.00) for two restrooms, and
WHEREAS, engineers employed by the City of Seward have
reviewed the bid documents submitted by the bidders and have
recommended that the bid be awarded to the apparent low bidder,
METCO, INC. ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, 'ALASKA, that:
Section 1. An award for the contract for construction
of two publ ic res trOOl!lS is hereby made to tiETCO, INC. t for a
price not to exceed SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE AND
NO/IOO DOLLARS ($66,221.00).
Section 2. The
