RESOLUTION NO. 82-44
A RESOLUTION APPROVING TIlE RECEIPT OF A l'lUNICIPAL ASSISTANCE
GRANT FROH THE STATE OF ALASKA FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY CREEK
MARINE INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, Chapter 25 SLA 82 appropriated a $4,000,000
grant for the purposes of the Seward Port Facility~ and
WHEREAS, the Port Facility referred to by the grant
is the Fourth of July Creek Marine Industrial Park~ and
WHEREAS, AS37.05.315 requires that the City accept
this grant by ordinance or resolution~
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The grant of $4,000,000 for the Seward
Port Facility (Fourth of July Creek Marine Industrial Park)
is accepted.
Section 2. This resolution takes effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this 14th day of June, 1982.
