CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-49
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH CH2M HILL TO PROVIDE
THE INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE FOURTH:OF JULY CREEK
TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT
WHEREAS, CH2M Hill was hired by the City of Seward to design
and provide the contract documents for the construction of the Fourth of
July Creek Transmission line; and
WHEREAS, the contractor, "Power Two", did accept this project
only after much reservation; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Seward to
provide continuity and full-time inspection in order to obtain a project
built to design specifications and within the bid price; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has programmed and budgeted funds
for inspection services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate
a contract with CH2M Hill for inspection services relative to the construction
of the Fourth of July Creek transmission line in an amount not to exceed
FORTY THOUSAND AND NO/lOOTHS DOLLARS ($40,000.00).
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

ALASKA, this 28th day of June , 1982.
