CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 82-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND SURPLUS
TO THE GENERAL SERVICES ACCOUNT, EXCHANGE PROJECT ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the Seward High School Band and Choir is traveling
to Obihiro, Japan in August 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council adopted Resolution No. 82-14
on April 12, 1982, appropriating $10,000 to finance a portion of
the cost of this trip; and
WHEREAS, the $10,000 appropriation will lapse to the general
fund surplus on June 30, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council desires to reappropriate these
funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund Surplus account number 101-000-271-00-00 to the General
Services account number 101-118-518-12-61.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect on July 1, 1982.
PASSES AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 28th day of June , 1982.
